Which is the best small car?

In India, it is a tough choice between the Maruti WagonR and the Hyundai Santro, though the Alto is the market leader because of Price and Fuel efficiency
For larger hatchbacks, it is a tough choice between the Indica (Petrol and Diesel Turbo), and the Maruti Swift, the former being more practical and fuel efficient, and the latter having striking looks and a lot of power.

Well there are many small cars manufactured by different companies.. see if u want a very small car then U should consider Smart KA. if u want something bit sporty i would recommend Mini Cooper or VW beetle GT. if u want just day to day i would say Peugeot 2 series. or somethign stylish BMW 1 series. :D. But my recommendation would be a Japanese manufactured car such Nissan or Toyota (cheap buy, cheap aftersales, and easy to maintain).

I rented a 2005 Ford Focus last weekend that got me from Wilmington to Durham on a quarter tank of gas($13 for 186 miles!).It handled great,is inexpensive and roomy too.These are things I look for but hey, Im more of a sports car kinda girl.

The best small car in terms of mileage, power, efficiency and what not is VW Golf.
