People tend to blame all the bad things that happen in the world on God, you are always hearing, "Well if theres a God why does he let bad things happen?" or "why did God let that happen?"... yet if some miracle should happen, or something good happens to someone... do they say "God blessed me"..."It's a gift (or miracle) from God"....No!... People will call it luck, or great timing, or give the credit to someone, but let a bad thing happen and those very people will be quick to blame it on God.
Personally whenever anything good happens to me I give God the credit, and when something bad happens I stop and try and figure out why, but next time something bad happens to you, why don't you stop and think about who you gave the credit to when something good happens. Was it God you gave credit to?...bet ya surely blamed him when something bad happened though.

anyway if you were looking for a question in all of this, well here it is... Do you believe there's God.... but that satan doesn't exist?....that God lets all the bad or evil in this world happen?.....Do you thing God does all the bad and the Devil just sits back doing nothing?....Just a thought...something that might make one ponder... God Bless

eduarodi you have a valid point, but no, I've personally had people tell me, God did this to me (something bad)...or God let that happen, someone very close to me serving in Iraq, has a daughter that was in a bad accident, she's in the hospital, they don't have much hope, but he believes God did this because of him, he believes it's karma.

I believe in God and that He created Lucifer (Satan).
God's greatest gift, aside from Jesus, is our FREE WILL.
we make our own decisions when given a choice, we make the wrong choice or choose without Him in mind, usually, things go wrong. Then we blame Him when we should be looking in the mirror.
I thank God every day for all the things that happen in my life.

Angel, most people who ask a question beginning "if there is a god," are actually being rhetorical. Their point is "there IS no god, and this proves it". No one blames bad things on god, when they say that.

Most of the bad things that happen in this world are done by people, not God....
