Hitting is not a sign that your mom loves you. However, It is not a sign that she doesn't love you either. What it does mean is that your mom has some problems. She probably doesn't know what else to do, or how to control herself. It is not right for anyone to hit another person regardless of the reason. Parents especially! This only teaches the child to handle things in the same manner. It also lowers a childs self-esteem. It use to be that people thought "spare the rod, spoil the child," and if your mother was hit as a child by her parents it is something that has been programed into her. Most parents that hit their children feel so bad about themselves for hitting but can't seem to control it. Others see nothing wrong with it. Maybe you could talk with you mom calmly about this issue and how it makes you feel and she could find other way of punishment. Depending on how severly she hits you, you may need to tell someone... a teacher, other family member, school counsoler, somebody. However, please understand that it has nothing to do with your mom loving you or your being deserving of it or not a valuble person.

Hitting does not mean someone loves you. They may expect to much out of u. I was hit, beaten, and vebally abused in my life. I still do get alot of verbal abuse sometimes. I have 2 girls, 1 is 23 yrs. old and the other is 11. Because of my abuse, I may have spanked my oldest a few times. My 11 yr. old needs alot of disaplin. But I'm 42 and I find it hard to do anymore than a tongue-lashing. Your mom may be trying to keep you straight or she may have problems of her own.worries,etc. What ever it is she loves you more than u will know. I thought my Dad did not love me at. But I know better now. He just did not know how to be a Dad. When I lost him in 1993. A big part of me died too. I will never be the same from my lose. Just do your best and when you have your own kids maybe your experience will help u be the parent you need to be. Look to God for guidence.

No, it doesn't mean that she doesn't love you either. It means she does not know how to deal with situation's that you may or may not be involved in..After the violence stops nothing has changed..Your Mom needs help. And you need it more, no one should be hit, or threatened with violence it does not work, get your Mom help see a teacher, clergy. Yea the law will get involved, but 1 or 2 years down the road things can be better for all involved.

no hitting is not a sign of love , however sometimes being a parent can get very frustrating and some people dont know how to deal with it and think hitting will get the point across. It isnt right to hit , sometimes people just lose control.

That all depends. Does she give you a spanking when you do wrong? Or does she hit you upside the head if you track dirt on the floor? If you break a window by purposely throwing a rock thru it, or she catches you smoking, and she whoops your butt and sends you to your room; then yes, she loves you and is teaching you a lesson. You get punished for bad behavior (and the punishment gets worse with age). If she beats you because you ate the last cookie or spilled a Coke on the floor, then she is a nut case and needs to go to jail and you go live with grandma (unless grandma is crazy too).

When i was a teenager my mom sometimes hit me, but i deserved it for sure.I was out of control and did things i dont like to remember. Some people think you should never hit and they are right. But rage sometimes causes us to do things we regret.I know my mom loves and loved me.I was her first child and she had no idea how to handle an out of control teenager.I have 2 younger siblings that she has never spanked, but they are so much more well behaved than i was.She learned alot from me im sure!I wont say that your mom is right or wrong, but im sure she loves you!

if you aren't to any extent further a troll, and that i imagine you're, attempt explaining that allergies will make a dogs lick its paws, as will also undesirable nerves. So hitting the dogs exacerbates the mission, no count number the inspiration reason. Then get it to a vet for the paw licking, on some hypersensitivity meds for a dogs, and word if it would not get better effective. i'm in hardship-free words giving an answer IN CASE the dogs in question is incredibly in worry, yet i trust you're twitting us right here on Y!A, for my section. I, too hate abusers, and attempt to end it even as conceivable, consequently my answering, "basically in case".

No. She has a problem, an anger problem. If you are under age 18 and you are hit hard enough that you get bruises or worse then report her to your school's counselor.

Hitting is not a way to show love. I'm sure she does love you, but when she's hitting you she's angry!!! Does this happen often? You should talk to someone. No one deserves to be hit!! Good luck and please find someone to talk to.

No, it means she's frustrated, angry and doesn't know how to behave. I was hit as a child and it was not out of love.
