The Kingdom of God is just that - a heavenly government headed by Jehovah God,with Christ Jesus as king and 144,000 faithful men and women who have been taken from the earth to rule as kings and priests with Christ over the earth.(Rev.14:1-4;Dan.2:44)

Jesus said, " My Kingdom is not of this world" ( John 18:36) and that the Kingdom of God is within us ( Luke 17:21). He taught that the Kingdom of God is spiritual and we enter by being " Born Again " ( John 3:2,3,5). Paul declared: " For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost " ( Romans 14:17)
We are Born Again Christians with the Kingdom of God within as we live in these physical bodies.

St. Paul speaking to the Greek Stoics on Mars Hill by the Holy Spirit quoted a Greek poet saying -- "In Him we live and move and have our being."
The above is true of all men. That is where I am and where you are. I consider this one of several universal points common to all religious understanding.
The Lord Jesus Christ came from the heart of God to establish His Kingdom in the hearts of men.
Unfortunately that Kingdom is not within all men; including many who claim it as individuals. Nor can it ever be claimed as a group. Those who have it, or have a chance at it, will first follow peace with all men and then holiness without which no man shall see the Lord..

The Kingdom of God is a figurative term for an enlightened state of consciousness. My "higher self" and eternal soul are "the kingdom of God".

If that is true, then God must be causing my indigestion! I should tell the doctor to get Him out of me so I can finally enjoy eating without the suffering.
