I have the best recipe for ribs. First rub your ribs with cumin, salt, sugar, pepper, paprika. Let stand overnight in the fridge. Next day, cook ribs slowly in oven , for three hours at 275F. For last hour baste with a sauce with the following cooked slightly in a saucepan :
2 onions, diced, finely (saute these first with 4 TBSP butter)
2 cups of ketchup
3 TBSP brown sugar
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard powder
juice of one fresh lemon
1 tsp seasoning salt
I pour the sauce and mix a little and let cook for the last hour. I have had more people devour these ribs and ask for more than I can tell you!!!

marinade: bbq sauce in pan on stove top. add some diced, chopped onion and some honey (how much depends on you) and slowly heat through. spread evenly over your ribs. they will be great.
you can too prepare the ribs in your oven. i live in an apartment where you cannot use a grill too well so i put them into a casserole dish and add just a hint of water on the bottom of the dish and lay the ribs in there with my bbq marinade on top and cover with foil and bake for an hour or more and check on them once or twice and bake at 350 degrees. it is easy. you will see.
happy eating.

My way, I clean the rack of ribs then cut them to the serving size desired for each person. Prepare a pot with water, add seasoning to the water with some white vinegar to tenderize the ribs and soften the gristle (I love gristle), add ribs into the seasoned water and bring to a boil until you pull a bone which slides out the rib clean. You can then de-bone all of ur ribs or stick in the oven at 350 degrees until brown and add BBQ sauce until browned or to your desired darkness or u can BBQ them on an open or closed grill. the best u'll ever eat, enjoy!!!

1/2 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 cup white wine, 3 chopped green onions/scallions, grated ginger about a tablespoon, half a cup of corn oil or peanut oil. Mix in two gallon zip lock bags (one inside the other) put meat in the mixture and refrigerate several hours. You can add red pepper or tabasco if you wish but not too much.
You can put the meat & marinade into a pan cover with foil and cook slowly at about 275 degrees for several hours - the meat will be so tender it will fall off the bones.

NEVER bake bbq ribs..it's not called baked ribs are they??? Slow cooked under a slow fire on the BBQ, hence the name. And as for the marinade...salt and pepper the ribs and your favorite BBQ sauce.

Meats tend to dry out if you cook them in BBQ sauce. You want them to be tender and moist, as well as flavorful. My favorite way to do ribs (country style) is to slow cook them in a crock pot with just a little salt, pepper and garlic. When they're done, I put them on my George Foreman grill and grill them up. When grilled for about 4 minutes on the George, I put them on a platter and smother with BBQ sauce. It works, the meat is moist and tender, and it's great tasting!

You marinade w' your sauce, let sit in frig. Buy a baking rack like you use inside the pan for a turkey or roast, put that on top of a cookie sheet, to catch your juices, fat, etc. Start out by baking them for a little while to make sure you cook them through, then put them on broil to finish it off.
