I don't. I tell my friends that when we are discussing our people, they were surprised. Some ignored it and act like they didn't here me, some knew, some listened. But I will tell you this, and it is the TRUTH...a lot of people in our race do not like the race taking the fault in anything. These type of people think black people have done nothing wrong, then think they can somehow do wrong because their people have done no wrong. They should also put in the history books. I don't mind that fact at all, it happened and it's not a good thing or a bad thing. If I met with the king who did that I would tell him thank you but no thanks! ^_^

Slavery was a fact, and is a fact. Irregardless of the people that are enslaved and the holders of said slaves. There have been slaves and owners throughout history. Not that the former practice of something makes it right, Just stating a fact. Another fact, slavery has been illegal in the U.S. for longer than any person in the U.S. has been alive. So therefor it is almost a sure thing that nobody in the U.S. owns a slave or is a slave. That is not to say some days we (the people) don't feel like slaves to one thing or another. It is to say, that slavery is not a problem in the U.S.. Bigots are a problem, I don't dislike anyone because of origin, religion or family history.
It is a given that Africans sold Africans into slavery, just as the Greeks enslaved their own so did the Romans. England placed Englanders in to indentured servitude (that is slavery) also. Slaves were not just African, but all nationalities, creeds and other divisors. Isn't it time to heal the wounds?

Don't generalize.. not all black people deny that. I haven't..
But, that doesn't make it any better. Africans enslaving Africans nor Europeans enslaving Africans. Enslavement is enslavement.
