Girls will tell the truth until they realize you don't have anything to offer them and lie using that phrase as a scapegoat. They feel if the say "I have a boyfriend" it won't hurt your feelings as bad as....your breath stinks........I think you're immature...........you stay with your parents...........you work where.....your are a ??????........you drive a PInto, etc. Women most time will spare a man's feeling instead of using any of the phrases above and many more.

At first they say they dont because maybe they want to get some action when they really do have a boyfriend. Then later tell you they really do either cuz you're ugly or weird.

hmm..firstly...you should be proud if a girl does that to you...that means she maybe likes you or attracted to you or she just wanna have fun......she want you to want her...and shes afraid that you will loose your interest on her when you found out she has a boyfriend.... she just don't wanna lose ur attention.... this is normal behaviour for a girl when she know someone she likes instead of her boyfriend... but if she is loyal and sincere enuf to her boyfren, sooner or later she will tell you about her boyfren....don't get upset...she just trying to say that she likes you in a 'girls' language....

If I do have a boyfriend, I won't say that I don't have one.
Sometimes when I don't have a boyfriend, I will say that I do if I discover that I'm not into the new guy as much as I thought I would be...in an effort to not hurt his feelings.

They aren't interested. I never lied to anyone about me having a boyfriend. When i have one, i have one, i don't lie, if thats what you mean. i would never lie, but i would only ever lie is when i have to save myself or another person.
They just aren't interested, thats all.

a lot of girls like to try before they buy , seems the grass is allways greener but just in the looking stage of romance .obviously the boyfriend they have ,is not compleatly what they want yet ,but is there as a back up .

She wants out. Easy/ nice way to say " Im not that into you". I would comeback with " Oh, good then it was mutual, I was trying to get you as a side thing...andrealized on couldnt do it either" Dont let her win.

They like the attention. They like tpo tease the he** out of us and then put the brakes on when their "conscience" takes over. It turns em on to see if they still got even though they're in a "committed relationship".

they do that to say they are not interested and to hurt you. That is my favourite thing to do to anybody!!!! but with me, i'd say i do have a boyfriend when i really don't have one, just to be safe and not have wierdos hitting on me.

cuz they are stupid and want to feel important or just using as a rejection towards someone hitting on them that they have NO interest in!
