it's probably all about politics. though, the FN SCAR is a little technical for the indians to start toting around. don't know why they even bothered with the israeli weapons though, i've heard tell that the Tavor's a piece of **** that jams up if you breathe wrong..

Israeli ones are cheaper and are less likely to misfire.
