This is serious, take action now by taking her to consult a doctor specialized in psychiatric counseling and medication. It's something like an orange light before the red one, you can save her life from a serious case of depression. Please let me know if she's all right as soon as possible, thanks.

Seek help-fast!!! Usually ppl who came back from the brink regret their decision immensely. Get help for her and she'll thank u years from now. Also, try to show her that she has a lot to live for; usually people who plan on suicide are convinced that there is no way out but death. Convince her that there are other ways, other alternatives to solving her problems. AND seek professional help immediately! Make a habit of calling her every hour, just in case. Show her u care; talk to her and tell her that there are better ways. Above all don't dismiss her threat as that will only push her over the brink. Good luck!!!!

The good thing is that she talked to you, which means that she is still reaching out: that thing about not wanting to shock you is crap because suicidals are to deep into there own problems to think of others. This does not mean that she won't do it though, so you must take all measures possible.
Because this is an unusual situation and a mistake can have deadly effect, you should not try to solve it without expert help. Try to contact some kind of help line or other professional that will know the best alternatives to deal with this.

Well first off, if you can tell anyone, counsellor, princepal (assuming you are in school with her) then do so immidiately, if you cannot do that, and you said she has no family that you can speak to, you might consider calling the police, as they will have her put into a hospital for a psyc evaluation. If at any time you think she has or is about to go through with it, call 911, they can help her much faster and more capable than you can. If she does go through wtih it before you can help her, don't blame yourself, there are some things that cannot be changed. but do your best to do whatever you can.

Instead of talking to us you should be on the phone finding numbers to have her commited. She might be mad a t you now, but will thank you later. Remind her all the time how beautiful she is as how upset you would be if she killed herself. Good luck. God bless

You can tell her that you love her and make her understand that life is worth living and that depression occurs in so many people. Tell her that all it takes some time to get through and once she makes it through this "dark" part of her life, that things will get brighter and better. Tell her there are so many people out there that can help her and that medicine can help cure this. One of my friends is going through it and he takes pills that make him feel better.
Good luck to her and you and don't let her make you feel bad either.

DON'T TAKE IT LIGHTLY!!! You must do something. Tell your school counselor, who will intervene. Or tell her parents.
