Oh, I absoloutley do so does my husband and son....We also have several nicknames for her.....like sissy bug etc......When my dog hears that tone of voice her tail wags so hard that her back end moves side to side, she gets soooo excited that she sneezes...I get funny looks to from people that are not use to us talking to our dog that way....I can almost bet most people talk to there animals in there own special voice and language...I'm just not a behind closed door baby talker to my dog, I do it in public....

I'm 54 and I talk baby talk to my dog. I do this because it shows affection. Pets become part of a family, and I don't see any thing wrong with it. I don't care of I get funny looks, those would be the people who don't like animals. I love my pet, he's wonderful. He is so happy when I come home, and loves me unconditionally.

Yes of coarse! That's how us doggy people are! We don't care about what other people think because our dogs worship the ground we walk on and so we don't need the approval of other people. That's something wonderful about being in the Dog Fancy though is that nobody looks at you strange and they all know what your talking about when you use dog speak...

I do cause if I don't and I use my normal tone of voice he acts like he just got in trouble. I don't yell or nothing but I just got him back home after he was gone for almost 3 years living with some one else and they might have always yelled at him in that tone.

infant communicate oftentimes soothes a dogs by way of fact they associate a 'infant voice' with compliment. by way of fact whilst a dogs does a stable ingredient in simple terms like with a newborn maximum dogs vendors compliment them with a extreme pitched infant voice telling them 'Oh what a stable dogs you're, oh definite you're..' i in my view have self assurance it does not do any harm to a puppy or older dogs :)
