Ok- this is kind of long. I got pregnant and had a baby when I was 19. I ended up leaving the "sperm donor" of my baby because he was cheating and he never tried to get back into her life. I met my husband and when my daughter was 2 I went to court and had my ex's rights terminated and my husband adopted my daughter. He has caused so many problems for me that I don't feel I can EVER move back to my home state. He has spred lies about me and my husband, he sends me messages (I have them saved), he finds me everytime! Its gotten so bad that I had to make my phone number not listed! Is there anything I can do to make him leave me alone? He has a bad history and I think he is still on parole- don't know if that helps anyone. Please let me know what you think. I appreciate all REAL answers. Again- thanks.

You should talk to a lawyer. There must be something. Restraining order, sue him for harrassment, or something?

I also hope you and your husband keep a firearm for safety. If I were a woman in your position, I would carry one in my purse and make sure you know how to use it.

Good luck.

Most states have laws against stalking or harassment. I doubt if his antics are as far reaching as you think. I'm sure there are very few people who have heard of his lies, you are simply blowing it out of proportion. Talk to your local police department or get an attorney and find out what your legal options are.

you have to report the harassment to the police . get a restraining order. every time he violates the restraining order have him arrested. sue him for slander. you probably wont get much but he might stop the nonsense. have your husband beat the living crap out of him if he gets close enough.

Tell him to cease and desist or you will contact the local police dep. where he lives as well as where you live and file charges for harassment. Tell him that you have all his msgs saved and you will use it to pursued your case.
If that warning fails, go ahead and file charges with your local police Dep.

Good Luck
