Aren't cats great?! Not only that, but they will wait until you are reading a great article in a mag or the newspaper and then come and flop themselves all over it. I try and push my cat to one side so I can still read and he can still flop - but he always wins I'm afraid.

Never, ever leave a jigsaw that you are working on unguarded - it is a cat flopping magnet!!

The paper warms fast to them laying there, producing a nice sensation for the cat.

Usually because the coating on them actually stays cooler, but mine like to lay on anything I try and read for the attention.

Becuase EVERY cat feels he/she should be on the front spread of EVERY magazine.

I dunno but my cat does it all the time. When I am trying to write a paper for work or soemthing he will just come a plop down on the paper and won't get up so I can finish what I was writing.

they dream of being famous and of being in the magazines
they also recognize things on the teli ,dogs cant do that

Because they enjoy being as irritating as possible. Another way they acheive this is by eating toilet roll.

to stop you reading them, and therefor leaving you free to love them.

Also the paper gets warm really quickly.
