I sure do! My father and myself went to one that was a few blocks away from the house I grew up in. I can't remember the food very well, but I did get stickers from them that I still have on an old metal cabinet I keep in the shed. Gosh I bet it's been close to 30 years since that place was open. After the place closed it sat empty for many years, then became a BBQ joint that lasted for a few years then a Mexican restaurant that didn't last very long. One day I drove by and the building was torn down. Now it's a car wash.

Lots of memories with Burger Chef!!!

Yeah, they were king of the hill in the 60's. Introduced several innovations that others adopted, such as the "Fun Meal" for kids. They were also the first to use a temp control on their french-fryer. And the 'kitchen' had windows all around so you could watch your burger being made. Kept the staff on their toes keeping the place clean also.

In the early 70's, they were bo't out by General Foods, which screwed things up royal and they were eventually sold to Hardees. A few die hards were still in business into the 90's , but Hardees owns the brand name.
