Its when people go on a very restrictive diet to lose weight in a very short time, usually before a party or to fit in a bikini. They might eat nothing but grapefruit and drink water or something similiar. However this is VERY dangerous(ecxpecially if you are still growing) and when you get off the diet, you gain all the weight back, plus more!(your motabolism slows and yourbody starts storing extra fat.

P.S if YOU are thinking about dieting, dont make this mistake. Just make some life style changes like cutting down on sodas and chips, and eating more fruits and veggies

When someone wants to drop a lot of weight quickly, they go on a severely restrictive diet. They eat as little as possible. That is a crash diet.

Usually the wieght one loses from crash dieting is mostly water weight. Dieting in this way lowers a persons metabolism, making it harder for them to lose weight later in life.

It is very unhealthy.

when somebody want to loose weight quick, most of them are very bad for you, and most likely you will gain weight back. If girls want to loose weight do it the correct way by exercising and eating healthy!
