I like this guy that is older than me by 5 years. Is it okay to like him? I just want to know because I'm a little unsure about the answer. PLEASE HELP ME PEOPLE!

yes, its okay. I'm 21 and my husband is 27. we met when i was only 18...the age difference is not that bad...but you know what people say...women mature much faster than men...so i like to think that we are on the same intellectual frequency...lol

Sure, as long as you are both 18 or older, 5 years isn't that big an age difference, my husband of 27 years was born in 1957 and I came along in 1962, a 5 year difference.

Yes it is okay, sometimes an older companion is alot more mature. I have dated older and younger guys. The older guys were more stable. I am 31 and my companion is 35. It is actually a 4 1/2 year difference but we get along great. Hope this helps!!

if you are 15 and he is 20 then thats a bad idea. If you are 20 and he is 25 then so what. If you are 13 and he is 18 then bad idea. So fortha nd so on. Make a good decision. If he can go places that you are too young to enter bad idea.

It depends on how old you are. Age stops mattering when you are about 20 or 21. It's okay to like the guy but don't like stalk him and idolize dating him or anything. If he isn't interested in you i'd leave it alone. He probably doesn't want to date younger girls. Plus if you are a minor and he isn't then that makes it awkward because you can't do alot of things that he does in his everyday life.

That depends entirely on how old you are. If you are under 18, forget it. If you are an adult, what difference does it make? My husband is six years older than me, I met him when I was 18 and he was 25. My mom and step-dad are 18 years apart. Love doesn't have an age limit, unless you are jail bait.

It's okay to date an older man. You just have to make sure your not too young. Women tend to like older men because they are a bit more mature than younger guys.

the huge question is, how old are you? if you are 15 then 5 years is way too old. if you are 25, then i would say "why are you even asking?" my parents are 18 years apart and have been happily married for 30 years, but my mother was also 27 when she got married.

it's really ok! u know, women are smarter than men by about 2 or 3 years, so, a guy in the 20 his perfect match is a girl who is 18, it's a succeful rule thou!
