There's a girl across the country, who I have texted for almost 3 years, and now I can't stop thinking about her. We used to talk all the time, and we would confide in one another. But now we fighht alot, and the recent one landed up with her getting rid of me. I am completely destroyed, and my friends tell me its my problem, what can I do?

It can not work if their was no initial normal distance stage. A Relationship can be maintained over long distance, but It can notdevlope beyond frendship if there was not more to begin with. You obviously had a conection with her, but a real rleationship did not, and was not going to happen. So that sucks, but you should feel good that you had her as a freind for so long, and more importantly You should feel confident in your abillity to start a new succesful relationship since you have already proved your abillity in the very difficult long distance arena.

Well i have a friend named Adam who's in a long distance relationship and he has been for nine moths i think.Trust me they fight alot..but they still manage to stay together.If u really care about her then dont leave or try to work out ur prolems so u fight less...but there will always be fighting.I understand completely how u feel..if u feel u are better off not talking to her then move on and meet sum 1 within ur state or country.If not then try to make it work.

But I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years now and they can work! This very moment I'm not very happy with him but the distance isn't a problem! Men are just idiots... sometimes!
