Well im 13 and i weight 160, and i got a friend the same age and he only weights 140.Ohh yeah im 5'3" and he is just like 1-2 inches shorter Yet if u compare us im way leaner. I work out somewhat and he does too. even if i weight 160 i can endure long excercises running so on. i am flexible too i can touch both hand behind my back put my foot to me face so on. but anyways i dont think im that strong i guess the only way i can relate to the people answering my question is that i can do 30 push ups in a rep.( i cant relate in benchpressing so on cause of age , etc
)so i just wanna know if im really overweight or why do i weight so much. and i can wrap my thumb and index around my wrist so doesnt that make me not big boned(i heard it somewhere but it sounds like a real statement to me)

For your height yes you sound like you could be overweight...doesnt matter how flexible or strong you are. But, if you are concerned ask your parent to take you to the doctor to get a real opinion. Oh, I didnt notice that you were a boy...maybe 160 isnt overweight... Go to the website below

You are 13, you are still growing. If you are eating right (not too many chocolates and coke and junk food) then give yourself some time.
Maybe use your energy in this stage of your life to get good grades at school and focus on your strengths. Dont worry about how you look - when the time is right you will meet the right person, fall head over heels in love and NOT WORRY about how you look!

You will worry in 10 years time about money ... so study now to prepare for your future!!

You are overweight.

Considering your lifestyle, though. Do you feel that you are on a path to building muscle? To build muscle, you have to build bulk. You can't become (massive) strong without first becoming a fat guy or bulky individual. That's just a sad fact of life.

You are at the best time in your life to become overweight, but you have to overcome that fat urge and turn it into strength. I wouldn't recommend this to guys that want to be pretty, or to girls. You are going to turn yourself into a monster that gets big and strong--over all else! It is not for people who want to be normal in any way.

next time you go to the doctor talk to him or her about this. If it concerns you a lot get your parent to make a doctor's appointment. It sounds like you are just built different than your friend. I hate that this is bothering you. I know lots of football coaches would probably like to meet you.

Muscle weighs more than fat, dear.
