the Light Side or the Dark Side?
The Dark Side makes us sound more bad a**, but the Light Side speaks for our belief in not being intolerant like christianity.
I guess I like the bad boy image, so I'd go with Dark Side, I just don't know if there's a commonly accepted answer by the Atheist community out there or not.

Well there is a light and dark side to every type of belief. For instance take those crazy christians, honestly even though I'm an atheist I think most are good normal people (light side) and then you got those christians that blow up abortion clinics in the name of god (dark side). Same thing with Islam. So it is what you make it, but that really doesn't matter anyways because when someone does something crazy that's all people are going to remember because they want to be able to say "see those people are crazy!"

If you're atheistic just for the rebel image, buddy, you're missing the whole point. Besides, even assuming that there's a light and dark side means that you still see the world in a religious context.
Too many atheists waste their energy on passionate disbelief. A simple absence of belief is all that's required.
Edit: In Star Wars, there is no atheism. The Light Side is made up of those who embrace the religion and humbly allow its power to work through them, and the Dark Side is made up of those who embrace the power but not the convoluted dogmatic religion derived from it, and seek to bend that power to their own wills. If anything, it's organized religion versus deism or satanism. Holy cow, I feel like a geek for writing that.

It's an odd question for an atheist to ask since a true atheist wouldn't believe that any sides exist. According to the Bible, which I assume you reject although you can pull out references, it's clear that you are "in the dark" and spiritually blind. But it is not only atheists who are in the dark. Those who profess to be Christians but choose to live lives of disobedience are "walking in the dark" and are "liars."

It isn't a "side", it is simply a way of life formed around a religion opinion. it is really up the one following Atheism to decide what "side" they think they are on based on their own personal feelings about God, Heaven, Hell, the Bible, etc.
I, being an Atheist, personally consider it the "outside", or just a way of looking at things in a neutral position without the bother of "divine interference" or whatever the Christians call it.

If you are an atheist, then why should you care? I mean really, isn't it your beliefe that there is no higher power? C,mon, pull yourself together and progress on to be the best person you can. Quit pondering about the meaningless things in life and do something with yourself. Oh, and by the way, tell the rest of the atheist community to stop down playing God and Jesus. Y'all don't believe in them so quit your complainig about them.

It seems like an atheist would have no faith in the Force at all, so Light or Dark Side seems like a superfluous question.

Logical, Reasonable, and Rational does not seem like the dark side.
Delusional seems like the Dark Side.

It is the twilight zone or the terminator.
The terminator is the line between the illuminated, day side and dark, night side of a planetary body (also known as the "grey line").

Sure, it's the rational and logical side. Trying to tie Atheism to Light or Dark shows that you are buying into their rationale when neither answer is correct.

I go with neutral since I don't think of it as a side, it's just a part of who I happen to be.
In reality, I think "they" named us atheists... Really we should not have any title since we are just the lack or religion, titles are for actual religious beliefs.
