Brushing your teeth should be done twice a day but if you can only do it once then make it at night. If you don't brush at night you are leaving concentrated food acids on your teeth which will lead to decay. During the day your saliva washes over your teeth and helps dilute the food acids but at night time this does not happen. You shouldn't brush your teeth straight after eating or drinking you should leave it for at least an hour. Swishing water around your mouth after eating is a good habit to have.

With 4 kids, 4 dogs, a bunny, and a hubby along with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and most recently, cleaning out the garage, I have to admit that sometimes I am sooo tired I just fall into bed and fall asleep. It's a bad habit. I used to take awesome care of my teeth but after I got pregnant my teeth started falling apart, literally. My pregnancies pulled so much out of my body that my teeth became unhealthy. I even lost two of my teeth, luckily where it isn't noticable. They crumbled. I should take better care of them and you should take care of your teeth too. It doesn't do well for your self esteem when you are forced to pull a tooth.

The most important time of the day for washing your teeth is in the night!!!!!You have to do that after every meal ,but if you don't have time for that ,at least you can do is washing your mouth with mouthwash,e.g.Colgate plax or you can chew a gum.But don't forget that it is very important to wash your teeth at night, because you have to remove all the plaque from the food you have eaten that day.

YES...and in the morning...and after lunch if possible, and also floss every night. Also...don't forget to brush your tongue! The human mouth contains more spreadable bacteria than any other part of your body! Clean is good...often is better!

YES, and in the morning too! It's totally gross not to. Seriously.

A tip: it is also a good idea to brush your tongue very well. Your taste buds are shaped like mushrooms, and trap a ton of particles and bacteria. Gross. anyway if you brush it it really helps with bad breath.
