The best tea ever is Lipton Raspberry decaf tea. It has such a great flavor that i don't even put honey in it.

I generally like the Tazo green teas also a favorite white tea of mine is a brand called Zenzo which is not really on the market except via internet purchase. I like bags for the convience, but if I had the time and patience I'd go with lose leaf tea.

The best ones are the ones that come loose, whole leaf. Actually ends up being less expensive than bagged teas, and much more flavorful! I like them all, exept for the pu-errh. That stuff is basically mulched tea leaves. Ugh! Like drinking dirt!

My favorite is the Kenilworth Estate Ceylon. Very rich, without the astringent qualities of Lipton teas, and costs like $3.50 for a quarter pound! How much do you pay for the Twining's English Breakfast Tea per quarter pound???

It depends on the purpose of the tea. If you need a quick strong cup in the morning, I recommend Ty-phoo, a British brand sold in international food stores and online in the US. It's pure black tea in round tea bags, and it is STRONG. It really gets me running in the morning. The other great British brand is the Ahmad tea.

As for more traditional, pot-brewed teas, I suggest visiting a local tea store. There are many variations of teas -- from herbal to flower to spiced chais, and in tea shops, you can get small amounts of each to try out and pick the one you like most.

How to brew a perfect cup of tea? The late author Douglas Adams wrote up a set of instructions on that :) Read on:

Earl Grey. I like a strong tea, but I find that letting it steep longer tends to make it more acedic. I use a ball and add more tea instead of using a bag and keeping it in longer.

I like green tea with flavoring like lemon. It's better for me because I don't have to put sugar in it to make it taste good.
