There are approximately 13 different makes and models of Webtv units.
To find out if the Lexmark Z12 is compatible with your Webtv, you will need to go to the webtv homepage, select the "HELP" button, then look under "EQUIPMENT", and click on "PRINTERS", then "DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS". Then Click on "BEFORE YOU CAN PRINT", and finally click on "COMPATIBLE PRINTERS". You will then be able to determine if the Lexmark Z12 color is compatible (it should be).
In addition to a compatible printer, you will need a parallel printer cable.
Note: If you are a classic user: You will also need an adaptor. This will be listed under "PRINTING REQUIREMENTS".
If the Lexmark Z12 is compatible - simply connect it and power on. There is no set up routine or software to install.
