It sounds to me like the person used wax that was too hot, or you could just be having a reaction to the wax. Try some antibiotic cream. I get the occasional peach fuzz on my upper lip as well. I use Nair Upper Lip cream. It has never irritated my skin, and I only have to use it every other week. If you do try this make sure to do the suggested patch test before to make sure you will not have another reaction.

Baby oil can usually sooth the rash. Or regular vasaline. You don't want to keep it too moist for too long cause if it's bad enough it may cause scarring. It's probably not so much a 'rash, rash'... When you yanked the hairs out of the folicles blood probably came to the surface of the skin. Place an ice cube on your skin for a few seconds and try a dab of baby oil.
If you plan to try it again in the future you may want to call the salon and ask what kind of wax was used. Hot wax/cold wax (both can be warm to the touch). Then opt for the other type.

Sweety its not a rash - I bet that your first time getting a lip wax - your skin is really sensitive and when you pull the strip your first layer of skin must have peeled! Rub ice over it put some honey on it and leave it on as much as you can. And nothing else you can do except for let it heal itself and it should be gone in a week! It will peel off like a scab!

Put vacelline on it...
maybe you are allergic to the wax type...or you can be allergic to the lil oil the put on top....
or maybe the lady who did it to you doesnt know very well...
You can try going somewhere else...or using different supplies...
good luck!
I wax a lot..but it has never happened to me...but the reason i know vacelline should work is b/c my friend waxed the day before her wedding adn seh got really bad allergy and vacelline fixed it!

Sensitive skin or allergic to the treatment they used, could be neither just left it on too long. Variety of reasons. I would use benedryl cr. or something like that to see if it will dry it up. After it starts drying up, use some type of Vit. E skin cream or oil on it.

You are probably sensitive to it, next time you should do a test patch first. If you had it done at a professional place maybe you could call them and ask? I'm sure they know how to deal with such things.

I would suggest laying a cool cloth on it.. and maybe some aloe on it as well.. You do not want to put anything harsh on it because that could cause it to get worse

Well...don't use that kind of wax again. You had an allergic reaction. I'm not sure what to do to make it go away....
