I've had my tooth extracted and i'm sure i won't be growing back. I kinda regret the decision and find it hard to eat on that side of my mouth. Is there anything i can do to the gap, some kind of plate, anything??? i can hardly chew...comfortably.

I will speak in general terms, as I have not seen your teeth and I do not know exactly what your situation is.
You could consider a "plate" to replace the missing tooth. If you only have one missing tooth, though, I'd consider something other than a removeable "plate."
You might be able to use a bridge here. This involves putting a crown or other restoration on a tooth on each side of the space and then gluing in the whole deal to replace the missing tooth. It is called "permanent" because you don't takeit out every night. It won't last forever, but they can last 20-30 years.
You could also consider using an implant. If you are considering a bridge to replace a single tooth, your situation might lend itself to tooth replacement by an implant. I would leave it up to your dentist to say if this is suitable for the site where you are missing a tooth. The cost would not be too much more than a conventional bridge in most cases and you do not have to alter the adjacent teeth at all.

If you want to spend a lot of money you could get an permanent implant. If you don't, you could just get used to chewing on the other side.
