I'm Asian. The "grass always looks greener" on the other side of the fence. So the answer is yea, not just you, we also look to the caucasians, usually as more sensitive/feeling people.

Fyi, be cautious to advice you ever hear from asian girls. Anyway, I'm an Asian guy and I am more attracted to white girls. Asian guys are less likely to approach you because they don't think white, latina, whatever, non-asian girls would be interested. That's why you see asian guys with asian girls. Just because you see an asian guy with an asian girl, it doesn't necessarily mean he was only open to asian girls before he got with her. Lots of Asian guys wish to be with a white girl. It's definitely not a matter of no attraction, because white girls can be very attractive. So there you go :) good luck
