Time travel would just open the door to a whole lot of new problems. If you changed any thing in the past it would set off a chain reaction of altered events in the future.

If humans will discover time travel, it would stand to reason that they would travel back to our time or earlier.
The fact that we have no record of visiting time travelers indicates that the answer to your question is no. However, this assumes that they would explain that their existence and origin to us, and the presence of visitors from the future would explain quite a bit of supernatural and religious phenomena reported through the ages.
So the flat answer is, nope, not unless future human beings are 1) totally disinterested in anything that's happened up 'til present, or 2) sneaky bastards who won't identify themselves for fear of disrupting the continuum.

Time travel would be one of the worst ideas ever.
Even if it were possible (I really doubt it), it'd just **** things up a hell of a lot more. If you travel through time, who knows what it'll do to the space-time continuum.

i think time travel should be left alone, but hopefully we'll dicover vehicles that can travel at the speed of light or maybe close to it. time travel will probably cause more problems than it will solve

We are still working on Mars, don't jump the gun. I'm sure there will be plenty of time to invest in experimentation while we deplete another planet of it's natural resources.
