The three bodies (earthly, astral, and ether -the fourth one being spiritual) remain with the soul except for the earthly body whci integrates with the original five elements. The astral plane where normally our soul goes, is described as a PEACEFUL place where we can expand our experiences for a better and higher life through our spiritual teachers, and if we so wish can reurn to the earth depending the availibility of place to conceive. After reading all these articles on Google's "mistery of Life after death" i am begining to feel no fear of death, as we all will be having a wonderful oppertunity to move forward in astral plane and in aastral body, and further there is no such thing as Hell which is a word coined by some selfish people for the monetary gains. Bhagvad Gita eloborates on this subject, which should be a good reading not only for Hindus but world at large. II am certainly looking forward to have further light on the subject from qualified and serious scholars

I had a conversation with my beloved grandmother before she died. I asked her to please come back after she passes away and tell me what happens. She said that she wouldn't because she wouldn't want to scare me, but she said she would send a letter, and we laughed about it.

About a week after she passed away I woke up and as I got up out of bed I heard in my head "There is never a reason to fear - you just go home when you die. It's easy, no problem." It was so clear and so sure that I felt certain this was my grandmother's message.

It provided me with a feeling like you describe. I know in my heart that I will carry on and I will likely return to learn something else once this life ends. There are infinite possibilities available to us and if we look closely at many of the worlds religions, you will see they say much the same thing.

Peace!

There's a wonderful book called "Ask and it is Given - The Teachings of Abraham." You have to have a very open mind to get into it, but once you get past the beginning, it has some great insights. I also like, "The Celestine Prophecy," and most books by Alan Cohen and Wayne Dyer. There are A LOT of great authors out there. Check out the meta-physical section at your local book store. Good luck.

There are kids who can recounted a death in a previous life. Then, after researching, it has turned out to be 100% true.

Like, a kid in India claims she died before by say drowning in a certain place, and then the researchers find the family of the person who died, and get the same information as the child is telling the researchers.

I am not a scholar but I have 'died' ( no heartbeat or respiration) four times and been revived by defibrillator each time, and I can tell you it isn't frightening at all. It's much, much harder to live than to die.
