Software like Photoshop and the like can help you with your dilemna. Paint is available as a cheaper choice, but can take a long time to delete the background.

I use Microsoft digital image suite, it's very easy to master and come with a great tutorial program. try it you'll like it, and it's so much cheaper than photo shop.

adobe photoshop works great i used in computer graphics class in high school but it's expensive
