Are there any other major issues with this model of Crown Vic? Thanks.

This model was available in LX trim with optional rear air suspension. No major problems on the Crown Vic, good solid car and great fuel mileage with a V8. Some minor repairs would be DPFE sensors, clogged EGR ports, and an occasional coolant leak from the front of the intake, but no major engine or transmission concerns. These are good vehicles.

For a while Ford and Mercury offered Air Suspension on the Crown Vic and the Marque. I am not certain about 1997
The only other model that was offered with Air Suspension has been the Lincoln Town Car.
