Danielle;
You sound very young, if I were your parent, and I'm old enough to be your grandparent, I'd only permit group dates until you were 16, and then only if you had a drivers' license. That said, this boy obviously does like you. If he seems reluctant to ask you out, its because he probably hasn't worked out how or figured out what to do on a date. Please, please go slow. You have a lot of time to experience all these things, and the earlier you start and the earlier you do things, the less happiness your lifetime partner will give you. Studies prove that the happiest marriages are the ones where neither partner ever went all the way before they were married, and not just with each other, not with anybody.

I think you already know the answer to your own question. You say:
1. You two have alot in common
2. He told you that you're cute
3. He touches you
4. Wonder if your mom approves of your having a boyfriend
5. Stares at you
6. Told your bestfriend that he likes you
= HE LIKES YOU
And he knows that you like him too.
So what is the problem here? Why are you confuse? If you two are just too shy to ask each other out, I'm sure that all these hinting at each other will go on forever. Just be casual and ask him to if he wants to go eat lunch together, movie, blah, blah, blah.

It could be he's just flirting with you. It only seem like he wants a girlfriend for awhile, and not a long term relationship! He probably likes you, though. Anyways, don't ask him out. you're not even sure yourself. You should ask him how he feels. Don't really talk about a relationship yet.

Ask him on a date.
If things work out then you will be able to say that it was you that started the relationship, that'll make a good story when you two are in the retirement home together ;)

Ya he likes you. He's just a little shy? And how old are you? You have the grammar of a 10 year old. 10 year olds don't need boyfriends.

probably the boys really like you but he doesnt have feet to let you know, he might think that he wont get the right answer from you.Theres nothing wrong to ask him for a friendly date, maybe he just waiting for your signal..since he was telling your friends how much he likes you..( sometimes Boy doesnt want to feel humiliation )

Depends on how old you are. Most people don't use the word boy when they're talkin romance. They use the word GUY or MAN
