Well, this more like *doing photography* - not downloading it. The other questions here are doing quite well...

It'd probably be better under "web images" or a similar category...

The Iwo jima flag was taken by Ira somebody I think (it was a re-take BTW - they went back and got a bigger flag).

Probably it would have been for one of the big two magazines at the time. "Time" or "Life".

Obviously the government was granted reproduction rights at some time so that they could make the statue. It's called the Iwo Jima memorial.

If I was looking for USA flag pics, I'd start at US.GOV.

Or, try google images and do your search there.
You can specifify the minimum resolution you want.

I think you could type "iwo jima flag" in just about any search site and you'd be tripping all over it.

I just did a search for "American Flag" and found some beautiful examples. Also, do a normal google search for "Patriotic pictures" and you will find many sites devoted to images and graphics.

Draped across the coffins of the dead coming back from Iraq. They're the BEST our country had to offer...

Please, define what do you mean by large quality pic. Do you want a photo or computer artwork?
