Why do we have so many religions going door trying to spread their word and trying to "Save" people from being doomed or sent to hell when the buddhists, who are by far the most caring and compassionate beings on earth, never go door to door? I really respect them for that!

When people want to influence people they come out with some good ideas to attract them to follow their theory, but some just leave it open..

Those who go door to door are people who, sacrifice their time and energy to help others. They to have a life, but voluntarily give of there extra time. The reason, is to look for honest hearted ones who are searching for a better life, or for spiritual guidance.
Even though many do not agree with them, they are doing the work Jesus told them to do like at Matthew 28:19,20. Where it says " to Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations,". Even though you might respect the Buddhists they are not following this scripture --- James 2:26, where it says, "Faith with out works is dead." And also the other one I shared. They just keep secluded and keep what knowledge they know to themselves. Isolation is also a danger that the bible says to avoid, at Proverbs 18:1, "The one isolating himself will seek his own selfish longing, against all practical wisdom he will break forth." I hope we all can at least respect others who care about helping us, knowing that they sacrifice their own time and energy. Some other scriptures I found are----
Acts 10:42, where it says, "He ordered us to preach to the people and give a thorough witness," and Matthew 24:14 where it states that " This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations , and then the end will come." These scriptures show why the people do a thorough witness, even though many do not agree with them.

...As a Christian, I am to obey the Bible, and one of the commands is to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all the nations..." (Matthew 28:18-20). I love my Lord Jesus, and will obey Him.
...I also love a lost humanity, and that includes everyone who doesn't trust Him as Savior now; they need Him, and He has commissioned us to take the salvation message to them. There is no greater act of love that I can do than this.
...You need to understand this - if what the Bible says is true, that without Jesus you face an eternity in Hell, then it is imperative that we get the Gospel message out. If you knew others were destined for Hell, why wouldn't you want to warn them - why wouldn't you try and show them how to miss out on Hell?
...Have you ever seriously considered the claims of Jesus of Nazareth, a real, historical figure, witnessed by the Scriptures and secular historians of His day? He claimed to be God. Whom do you say that He is? Is He a liar, a lunatic, or is He the Lord? He leaves you no wiggle room. Your answer will either lead you to faith in Him and eternal life, or will cause you to reject Him, and go to a Christ-less eternity.
...As Pilate of old said, "Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?"
...I pray that all who see this will trust in Him and be saved.

Different strokes, that's all. Caring can be shown in any number of ways. St Paul said, I am all things to all men, that some may be saved. Hopefully, someone will some day approach you in a manner that you can truly understand.

Buddhists don't believe that their way is the only way. In fact, they believe that any path can lead to enlightenment; their may be the easiest, but it's certainly not the only one. Therefore, they have no reason to proselytize.

The door to door religions who say YOU MUST BE SAVED are just your run of the mill cult. Then again so are the one's who say ...he died for our sins. Give me a break.

Many persons today ask that question when they find us at their doors. Some think maybe we are there to interrupt or disturb their personal lives. Is that really so? Many are busy going to work, going to school, enjoying life, struggling with bills and family life. We are often bombarded with the bad news that is advertised on the news and the paper. So how is the Good News supposed to get heard? Are you willing to listen? For it is impossible for God to lie, for he has said he is seperating the sheeps from the goats, and we know a sheep will listen where as a goat will not. (Matt. 25:32,33)
Just as a the government has provided us a warning system for when some disaster is going to strike...such as a hurricane, tornado, or threat of war attack. We know this is to save lives, and it will only prove to be beneficial for those who will listen and adhear to the warnings. Jehovah God has lovingly sent his son Jesus and his followers in his day, as well as in our day to sound out a warning, for that is why we're at your door. Survival from any kind of storm or war may prove beneficial, but keep in mind it is only temporary. For God has made provisions for all those HEEDING HIS BITTER /SWEET MESSAGE to affords us the prospect of gaining EVERLASTING LIFE. (John 17:3) Which is Good News for the (sheep like ones) who will listen and learn what his requirements are so as to exercise faith in it.
Jesus fortold for our day this work: " This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." (Matt 24:14) He also instructed his followers: "Go ...and make disciples of people of all the nations." He also said, "Look I am with you until the conclusion of this system of things. (Matt 28:19,20) Which means he is still with those who are doing that preaching work, that he himself started because the conclusion has not happened yet.
When Jesus sent out his early disciples, he directed them to go to the homes of the people. (Matt 10:7, 11-13) The apostle Paul said regarding his ministry: "I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house." (Act 20:20,21 also Acts 5:42.)
The message that the Jehovah Witnesses proclaim involves the lives of people; we want to be careful to miss no one. This is his lifesaving work! (Zephaniah 2:2,3) The calls we make to your home is motivated by love - first for God, also for our neighbor. We are consistent with the preaching of his message, and we don't force it upon anyone. Persons have the tendency to move to new residence and persons circumstances change. Today, they are too busy to listen, tomorrow they may gladly take out the time. One member of the household may not be interested and then others may be. People themselves change; serious problems in life may stimulate awareness of ones spiritual needs. Persons encounter loss of jobs, divorce, family problems, loss of a loved one, financial problems, sense of emptiness and unhappiness, all these things can make a person search for God and his bible truths. Next time when we're at your door, don't be hesistant to listen. Perhaps even ask for a What does God Require Brochure, or a Bible Teach publication for they both are bible aids to read with your bible. We will gladly sit down and answer any questions you may have. My final question is will you heed his warning?

People should stop using their mouths to spred the gospel...actions are more efficient...St. Francis of Assisi said, "Preach the gospel at all times, and sometimes use words"...
