its normal...a lot of guys go through the same thing...you subconsciously feel like she is now going to expect you to feel as deeply in return and the knowledge and pressure that you can't, can cause you to want to stay away...lol...Once you find the girl you really, truly love...this problem will be cured, and may even expand your sexual experience...so don't worry...

This can be normal, for girls too believe it or not. Many times, even though you don't MEAN to, you fall for a girl and you really like her and then WHAM you start throwing the 4 letter word around....L O V E. Once that passes your lips, for many of us "the hunt is over" and life turns to humdrum.

Let me give youthis advise......

"If you are hugging your girl, in a public place yet looking over her shoulder for miss better or miss RIGHT....move on." Once you find the "fit" you will NOT lose your libido for many years if at all. Enjoy the hunt, but be safe and make SURE you don't stay with someone JUST to have a warm body to snuggle(or otherwise). I call that "tree monkey syndrome", when people hop from relationship to relationship(tree to tree). There is nothing wrong with hangin from a branch and PLAYING with a few others and waiting for that PERFECT babe that will turn your crank for......well.....ever.

Good luck! Hold on to that branch!

I need some clarity here, for a better response.

You spoke of your libido, but you never spoke of your feelings for the girl. I think your problem stems up from fear of intimacy, or perhaps fear of getting hurt.

Please tell me, if it's someone you've known for awhile, do you still have feelings for her, otherwise? is she good to you, does she treat you nice? maybe if she's not a good person to you, makes you feel bad, cracks jokes at your expense it could be you feeling unconfortable with her.

If you want to fix this, you might need to try a relatonship with someone for a while, get confortable with intimancy slowly. I am only speculating here from the lack of information otherwise; but if you try being yourself, kind, gentle to someone who can appreciate that, maybe your confort level will increase with time, and then you can be intimate and become aroused at the thought of being sexual with her.

If I am wrong, and you've been with this person a long time, and your relationship is good, maybe it's the fear of rejection or demise of the relationship much later. Take it easy, talk things out, fears, worries....how's the relationship otherwise, solid? is there any infidelity? I an not trying to overspeculate, (although maybe I already have) but if someone entrusts their feelings to you, it might be the fear of the responsibility of that person's feelings getting hurt.

If you really look deep down inside, you'll know the answer. Just don't be afraid, communication is the key.

Guys get bored easily and want a challenge when they are younger. This is normal. When you grow up and mature this will stop happening and you will be glad to have someone love you. Don't get married until you have reached this stage.

Like on Sex and the City...Madonna/Whore complex. You see her as the girl that loves you and not something sexual so you don't like her like that. Or maybe you get off on the thrill of the chase...

You like the thrill of the chase.

One day you'll just change when you find the girl of your dreams.

You haven't dated "the one" because you would never lose interest and would pursue her more and be happy with her feelings toward you.
