Is it not about time people on earth woke up.There are no gods of any kind on this earth so why do so many people believe in them?All religion is wrong it causes more harm in this world than good most war & hate is started through religion.I once belived in Santa it was complete indoctrantion but eventualy i grew up.Religous freedom is wrong & it's about time people like myself put a stop to it.As a suporter of the S.R.L.A in scotland & loyal extremist against all religions known to man is it not about time we grew up as a nation.Islam,Heaven,Prophets,Gods,So called virgins,Adam & Eve when will people realise its all total & utter crap.Anyone that says he or she has seen god or mohamed is either tripin or is just plain nuts.Oh & as for those photos of mohamed the prophet with misiles straped to his body it caused riots all over the world people died how can you justify that?Islam is wrong and always will be forever & ever dust to dust bullcrap to bullcrap amen & goodbye.

You've opened a can of worms here!!! I am inclined to agree with you. When you read some of the answers given, it only reinforces what you are saying. When Christ returns, the True Religion.....who are they trying to kid. I read Biggles books as a kid. Loved them, didn't believe them, no reason to. Surely, its the same with the Bible or any other religious book. It is a story told from one person's point of view. There is no reason to assume they are any more correct than any other story book, no-one can prove any of it. But it does seem to be at the heart of all wars, so how can it be a good thing?

What's the point of getting angry at people's beliefs? I can understand why you might be upset with extremists who kill people, but that has nothing to do with religion. Most religions are peaceful in nature aside from the few who become twisted and cause harm to others. Wars have been broken out for years for many reasons, not just religion. If you don't believe in something that's fine, but why try to create an organization that wants to stop what others believe?

Religion has been an important part of all communities since the beginning of mankind.People in the earliest of times, knew that there was some-one more powerful than them , who has all the answers to the mysteries of life, they saw their families and friends life and die and they knew that people they knew who stood 'ten'feet tall just do not disappear like that ; there must be some-thing more to life ; some early people had the false notion of who this some-one higher than them was , but they knew that there is a higher being. We know of God Jehovah from the Jews. Religion is so very important that all through History , it played a very major role along-side Politics.

If you want to see peace in the world, you will definately have to accept the fact that everybody believes in some type of "teaching," even you do. You believe that our faiths are wrong, and that we should not believe them. What could it hurt to believe in something that could make you happy as a little humble kid if there aren't any consequences?

I don't mean to be an extremist of any sort either, but you will eventually learn what I have learned, "The Earth is extremely diverse. If you continue to exclude others because of prejudice thoughts, like the caucasians discluding the african americans, you will never have a successful world."

Its not the religions that cause the problems, if there were no religions than people would just make up another excuse to fight. Why do you care what other people believe? Islam is a decent world religion and you can't fairly judge the religion by the people who carry it too far. Be upset with those people, not the religions!

My dear there will never be an end to all religions. Humans need something to believe in that affirms their beliefs and hopes that there is an afterlife. Otherwise too many would fear death and do everything in their power to avoid it. Others would use that "knowledge" of no afterlife and therefore no higher beings to answer to for all their wrong doings and they would run a muck in our world, killing and robbing and whatever else floated their boats because they would have no sense of atonement.

I do not agree with a lot of things from most of the religions out there today. But I do believe in a little common sense, common courtesy and what comes around goes around. I believe that there is a higher being that we must answer to when our time is up here and I believe that no matter what religion a person believes in: murder, rape, theft, lying, deceivery, etc are very bad in the eyes of whomever you must answer to in your house of god. I do not believe that these gods are asking us to commit these crimes, I believe that our gods are asking us to find a way to live in harmony and no one wants to listen because they're too busy avenging themselves. They will get theirs when it is their time to speak with their gods.

We've all seen athiestic dictatorships in action. They aren't very impressive at all. Really backward, IMHO.

Man believes in something greater than himself. He must, or else only what he sees and knows is its own end. There is somehing engrained in every man which restrains him and tells him some things are wrong and some are right. Religion attempts to explain the "restrainer" and asks how it can please this one or how it can rebel against the one. The same can be said of the great creator, everything has a beginning, so who or what started it all? Again religion attempts to explain that which it cannot see in form of a deity that is higher than man.
