Doctors in training and medical experimenters DO cut up humans for the same reasons animals are dissected...to see what happened.

This happens in medical schools every day and half of every night. Pathologists do autopsies every day and usually nights as well.
Necropsy is actually a better word than autopsy.

actually they do, in hospitals every day, and lots of dead ones afterwards. you can give it a try, most of the ones who did it for sport ended up getting put to death.
