My two polms breed and the female is around 8 pounds the male 10 or eleven pounds. I know that breeding a bigger male dog is not reccomened but because she is also bigger than the standard will that make a differnce. Yes I plan to take her to the vet but right now it would be great for some info. I do know they are prone to C-Sections.

I have poms also and to be honest with you, the weight description for your two dogs sound like the average weight for poms. Males tend to be heavier than females. I don't think you should be so concern about this. Look at other breed that mate together in comparison to size (e.g. labadoodle).

Not trying to sound rude, but did you breed them on purpose? If you did, why? The point of breeding is to better the breed, not make poms bigger (they are supposed to be 7 pounds or less according to AKC). Pomeranians will usually have their pups ok, but some do require c-sections, especially if they have had one before. It is likely that you will come out with larger than normal pups since the parents are big, so you should really keep an eye on her when her due date is near, just in case they are too big to have naturally. Your vet can take x-rays of her to determine the size of the pups and the number she will have.
