That's why some Christians try to convert or proselytize.

Actually, i learnt in Studies Of Religion that the church (Catholic Church) is now saying that there is no physical place called "Heaven" or "Hell" it is a "state of mind" that a person experiences when they die.

To explain my answer i thought i'd say this first. "I don't believe in Heaven or hell (or the state of mind), i believe when we die, we are simply dead."
But...

Christians can't actually force their beliefs onto a person. They can however influence laws so that people would not (for example) kill someone (and hence "sin" and go to "hell"). If a person doesn't believe in heaven or hell, that is their right (free will). So if they want to commit an act that can be seen as a "sin" by christians, then they can (hopefully it isnt illegal). So basically (as i allready said) they can't force people to not sin and not go to hell, they can only try to influence the law so that it makes their sins illegal to try to prevent people from sinning.

Thats what many Christians on this site get so bashed for doing. We try to share Gods word with people. When we do we are told we are forcing it down their throats.
Friend i cant prevent someone from going to hell. Nor can i cause someone to go to hell.
That is a choice only they can make. Everyone has the opportunity to come to Christ and recieve salvation through him. Christians on this site and offline all over the world everyday try to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation. Its the person whom they are talking to that has the choice to make. We have already made our choice.

God bless you will be keeping you in prayer.

If you already know about hell, then why do you not want to stop yourself from going there? And if you really want help to stay out of hell, ask a Christian. Why blame your personal choices on Christians? I just don't get this...

People choose to tune Christians out and turn them off. They accuse that no one told them. There are Bibles everywhere on the net that are free in every language. You need to sincerely ask Jesus to come into your life and make a change. Now I told you how you decide when.

Because HELL is very real, it is a place of brimstone, and torment. There are many scriptures about Hell but the one that touch my heart is talked about in.
Luke 16

22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

We don't want anyone to go to hell. It's trying to get people to believe us is the problem.
