Yes, of course. So many signs point to it. If you read the Bible and take note of the signs Jesus gave to us, you will see it...increased famine, wars and rumors of wars, increased lawlessness, natural disasters occurring more frequently and with more devastating consequences, etc. All of them are happening now more and more. It's only a matter of time. However, no one but God truly knows when exactly the Antichrist will show himself and all that. I even have my own theories about it. I may be absolutely wrong, but it is what I think. I believe the world is already working toward its one-power rule and its worldwide religion. I do not know what the religion will be, but I know that it will be based off of lies twisted around different religions and that the Antichrist will spin a web of lies, making it seem as though he is the returned Messiah with the true religion. Also, I believe the worldwide currency will be the Euro, and the language English. I believe the Antichrist will try to bring worldwide unity by taking something from everything. All of Europe, basically, is coming to use the Euro...and everyone pretty much is learning English. Still, I may very well be wrong. It's just my opinion.

From the very beginning of the Christian Church there has been talk of the "end of time".

Classic "Armageddon" is actually only mentioned once in the New Testament of the Bible. (John 16:16) Through the years and many tests of the Catholic Church these apocalyptic verses have been viewed in the sense that the common man must remain faithful to the teachings of the truth, less they be swept away in the last days.

Modern books, movies, and other technologies have allowed man to mass communicate these ideas with ingenuous affect. It plays on a central theme of fear of dead spirits and evil retribution for the disbelieving.

Movies such as the Omen has very bad theology, in fact it is no where close to the truth. If you want to find the antichrist look toward Rome. Yes I think the end is very close.

Not yet. But let's face it, greed is taking over the world. And with the price of everything and the cost of living going up, and out paycheques not, something is going to have to give. It won't be pretty whatever it is. But the world cannot continue on the way it has been. It's way over populated and we cannot sustain all the life on the planet.

i believe that we should not worry about it. we should be practicing our faiths and fearing God anyway. people worry about it as if we can practice only b/ we believe the end is coming and God will not know our intention. we should have real and true faith no matter what day it is coming.

peace be with you all
