i'm no theologian, and i'm not a specific follower of any one religion (though i was raised catholic, and went to a catholic school).
it seems to me that many ppl are inclined to listen to the parts of the bible that they like, and ignore the rest. though i went to a catholic school, they still taught us evolution, and by the time they were older, they explained that the bible is meant as a guideline to a life of morality, not necessarily a group of word for word historical accounts. theres tons of proof of this also.
to prove that the bible isnt word for word correct, just look at the gospels. many believe that 4 of jesus close friends wrote these books (its proven they didnt actually write them, but the stories orginate from those men), but they all have different accounts of the last supper. one says jesus knew he'd be betrayed, another says he said "one of you will betray me", another specifically pointed out judas iscariot as the betrayer.
keep in mind, when the gospels were written most ppl couldnt read or write. in reality, those stories were passed down from person to person, and they certainly changed along the way. the codixes that have the original gospels carbon date as being written a few hundred years after jesus died at the earliest. theres NO WAY the stories stayed the same that long. and on top of it, the men that put the bible together chose the books that fit what they wanted to tell ppl to control the masses. its sad, but true.
and as far as gay ppl are concerned, i have to laugh when ppl say "its a choice, and its a sin!". really?? wow.... i seem to recall the bible saying judging others is a sin too, and only god can do that. so, by their own logic, they lose. and if its a choice, then when did you CHOOSE TO BE STRAIGHT? they get all defensive about it and tell you that they were born that way, but they cant accept that some ppl arent born like the rest of us. you might as well call someone who's born blind immoral, because he's choosing not to see god's beautiful earth.
and yeah, who knows what god is, or what his/her/its plan is. or hell, if there even is one. theres things in the bible that make that kinda sketchy too. i mean, god created the angel lucifer, who became the devil. well, if god knows everything, did he create lucifer just to become the devil? if yes, then lucifer got the short end of the stick there big time. and if not, then how come he didnt know it was gonna happen? hmmmm...
let alone the fact that it says that god wiped out the earth at one point. well, why not get it right the first time? not saying we need to be perfect, but that seems WAY off, especially for an all powerful all knowing deity.
so, at the end of the day, i think if you're a good person, and you do your best not to be a jerk, thats what counts. i dont care what religion you are, gender, race, sexuality.... if you're a good person, thats all you need to be. and anyone who tells you they know everything god wants is full of crap. theres a reason its called "faith" and thats because you need to believe but you dont have all the answers. if we did have the answers, theres not any point in religion anymore.

In the beginning God created men perfect. So, no lesbians, and no gays. No fools. Only perfect males and females. Then our first parents sinned. Along with death, imperfections--such as sickness, yes being lesbian or gay--spread among mankind.
That's why Jesus taught us to pray: "thy kingdom come". If that kingdom come, i.e, it will re-establish paradise earth then Christ will also heal our imperfections. He did that when he was on earth. He resurrected the dead, made the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, etc.
So, instead of blaming God seek him earnestly. How do you do this? Study the Bible. Jehovah's Witnesses will be willing to help you study the Bible very well. You'll also have hope since you will be able to know the final solution to all our problems.

God created man in His own image... we are his children... He wants us to be like him... We are created pure from the beginning and as we go through our lives we choose our own paths. He does not make us to be any certain way, or lifestyle... it is our own choice to make... such is our agency... If God made things for us to be a certain way, we wouldn't have the agency to choose or not to choose... There are some things in our Genes, like the color of our skin, hair and eye color.. even our distinct features, our smiles, moles, freckles, etc. Sometimes parts of our personalities come from our parents, grandparents, etc. but we still have the unique gifts that belong to us individually and we can make our own personality by just being who we are! The lifestyles that are sexual preferences such as mentioned in your question are absolutely not genetic and we do make those choices ourselves... We mold ourselves into a type or preference and we only have ourselves to account for that choice
not God or anyone else... We cannot even say the Devil made me do it!

I believe you do choose those things if you are that way. I believe the devil gives many people the urges and thoughts and temptations for these things. Those that take capture of their thoughts and don't allow themselves to think of the these things any further can get past it and even stop thinking it. The devil will leave you alone in this area if his tactics aren't working. Then you choose good thoughts that would be pleasing to God. Every time you have the other thoughts you rebuke them in the name of Jesus.

I don't belive God created people to be that way cause there are those who didn't have the desire to be gay until later in life when they got curious and gave into it. That is why I think it's a sin as the Bible says, the devil lures people into it.

How can being homo- or bisexual be genetic? You can't make a baby with two men or women.
Homosexuality is a choice. A wrong one... But people can be saved from it if they have a willing heart.
