I switched my dog to Innova from Pedigree when he was a puppy and had no problems at all. He actually has a very sensitive stomach, and Innova has been the one food that doesn't bother him and that he actually seems to enjoy eating.
Ask your vet for some W/D dog food. Once your puppy gets better, try to slowly change over foods. Going from one to another is not good for their little digestive systems.
Some other good brands are: Nutro, Canidea and California Natural.

I've been using Innova since my Golden Retriever was about 4 months old (he's now 9 yrs) and have never had a problem with it. If you switched from another pet food, it's possible that you made the change too fast and your puppy's system didn't adjust to the many ingredients in Innova's formulation. However, it's also possible that your puppy is allergic to one or more of the ingredients in Innova. You might want to try switching to California Natural, either canned of kibbled. Like Innova, it's a high quality food, but it has a limited number of ingredients, which makes it a lot more likely that your pup won't be allergic to it. You may also want to put your puppy on a diet of boiled hamburger and rice for a few days and then slowly switch him over to the new dog food.

Wellness is an excellent brand. A huge improvement over Puppy Chow. It's up to you if you want to finish off the bag or not. I would go ahead and switch now. At the end of the switch, just throw away the rest of the Purina Puppy Chow. I know it feels wasteful, but you can't typically donate open bags of food (at least not at the local animal shelters in my area, but you can call around to your local shelters and see if they will take open food bags). The Wellness is much better quality for your dog. When switching foods, do it gradually. I do this over about a two week timespan: 25% food A, 75% food B 50% food A, 50% food B 75% food A, 25% food B 100% food A .

Did you slowly change his food over a weeks time? Or did you just change the food. Usually if done to quickly that can cause diarreah. Innova is a good food, but still may be to rich for your puppy. Some dogs do do better with cheaper foods because their stomachs can not handle certain foods. How long has she had diarreah and why did you change foods to begin with. Did you go from lamb ot chicken or vice versa. Sometimes lamb maybe better cause the oily meat digests better. Most cases i hear of dogs getting diarreah from food is cause it wsa switched to quickly. It should be done atleast over 3 days to a week.

HI, yes once you start your puppy or dog on one kind of food and you change it yes they will get diarrhea and no it would be about the brand of the other food but ,,, just changing the food messes with the dogs system because once a dog has already gotten settled with one kind of food ,i don't think you should change it ,only its really necessary to do it ,so yes the puppy's digestive system is a little sick now it might take time to get adjusted to the other food,if the diarrhea continues then you will have to stop the new kind of food and just give the same kind that the puppy was already eating. you can also give a call to a vet and let them know what happen and they can probably recommend a medication for the diarrhea .
good luck

I recently switched my 4 month yo puppy to Innova from Eukanuba. She has no diarrhea. Most common cause of diarrhea is changing the food to fast. Change the food gradually in 1 week. One thing that I have noticed that she potty much less. Also since Innova has no filler, you may want to feed your dog less.

It is best not to switch or change any food with puppies. Pick one good puppy food like Nutro or Science or a vet recommended or carried food an stick with for a full year.
