I got dumped by a guy that sent me a letter and just basically said it was over with no reason. Should I bug him to know why or does it make me look desperate?

Let it go... There are times when things are done to you that do NOT require a reason.... Like NOW!!!
Why do you need a reason???? Maybe it was something about your personality or whatever & this guy is sparing your feeling!!!
Move on!!

You can just write him back and say you have the right to know why he dumped you. If not, don't stress yourself over one guy. Maybe he's going through some problems and he may not be ready for a relationship no more. He's probably confused. That's his problem. Just don't make it hard on yourself. Don't stress it. Just go on do what you gotta do with your own life. There's plenty of other guys out there. Don't take any of them seriously until you know he's the one. They're hard to find, let me tell ya. But they're out there somewhere. You just have to wait when he walks by you. Good luck.

He really isn't worth the time of finding out if he dumped you without any explination. But if you are wanting to know the reason..do not ask him..ask someone you know to casually bring up a conversation to him...she could ask him why he decided to break up with you...(it would be better to ask someone who's friends with the both of you..so that it doesn't seem that they're asking for you; but instead for their own reasons) this way..you can find out what you want to know..without looking like your trying to get back with him. Why bug him? Just move on. Think as if you dumped him. Next time you see him, stand with confidence and arrogance as if you are the one who think he was not suitable for you.

It'll make you look desperate unless you pull it off in one of those movie scenes where the girl looks genuinely earnest and curious... which won't happen, so don't attempt. Forget him. As far as this relationship goes, you broke up with him. He wasn't worth it anyway.

if you still love him, tell him that you need a reason. and show him that you are strong girl and you don't want to be kept from any truth.
