My friend and I saw it from Sunset Park in Brooklyn. It was in the Hudson, along the side of lower Manhattan. It looked like it was about a mile long. Huge. Anyone know?

I was curious when I read your question so I did a little research. I found that P & O Ports manages the piers and terminals for cruise ships in New York Harbor. There web site shows a monthly schedule for cruise ships. http://www.nypst.com/

I don't know which day and at what time you saw the ship, but if it was Saturday morning, it was the Carnival Legend. http://www.carnival.com/CMS/Onboard_Activities/Legend-Onboard_Exp.aspx
