At least four years of undergraduate studies to earn a bachelor's degree, another minimum four years to complete medical school. When you graduate medical school, you earn the title of MD. However, after medical school, you still have to complete an internship, a residency, and possibly a fellowship, (if you're going into something really specialized...) before you become an attending physician.

You need a 4 yr. college degree, 4 yr. medical school, 1 yr. internship, 2 yr. residency. Then more education if you want to specialize, and continuing education each year.

Best wishes.

From my understanding, it's at least eight years of college. Four years of pre-med, and then four years of medical school. Maybe more depending on what field you want to specialize in.
