idk about the top of your neck but i have a tatoo on the inside of my wrist and it hurt sooo much!!! and your ancle hurts alot those are the 2 most painful places on your body but idk about the neck...

I don't know about the inside of your wrist but I have a tattoo on the back of my neck. It really doesn't hurt that bad at all. It is more like a slight irritating feeling, like being stung by a mosquito over and over. I'm sure that there might be other places to get one that probably hurt more, but the back of the neck didn't hurt for me. I was really scared cuz everyone says tattoos are very painful, but it was no big deal. Don't worry you'll be fine. Wherever you decide to go and get it done though, make sure they are experienced and use only sterilized needles. Getting a tattoo can be dangerous if it is not done right. Good luck!

NO WAY. lol. maybe im just a freak, but i have bad neck and back pain, and it actually felt good. Im guessing this is your first tattoo, so yeah, its a bit uncomfortable. i have one in the inside of my wrist as well, and a large one on the back of my neck, the small one hurt worse, its more tender skin there. so I suggest first getting the tat on your neck, before wrist, so you get used to it, and also, take note, get the tat just below or above where your neck creases, because it will wear down with time from the bending. caution: tattoos are addictive! lol. as long as your not a total wimp, youll be fine. its not all that bad. I have a full necklace across my chest. hitting the breast bone was the worst part. but you live. its a awesome exerience. i want another just talking about it! lol. good luck in whatever you choose!

I have 2 tats and the only one that hurt was a tat on the outside calf of my leg that went up to that like knob on the outside part of your knee. The tattoo gun goes soooo fast it has a kind of numbing affect on your skin. When the needles start hitting bone, that hurts, or at least it did to me. I Also have a black wolf tattoed on top of right shoulder and that didn't really hurt either. If whoever is doing your tat likes to listen to music or doesn't mind a friend tagging along, this helps take your mind off what is being done and it is over before you know it. If you really want a tat go ahead, it really isn't as uncomfortable getting it done as you might think!

I have both areas tattooed. The back of the neck hurt slightly, but it really depends on your pain tolerance. I also have one on the inside of my wrist, didn't hurt at all. Also it depends on the size of the tattoo you are going with. Try finding a tattoo artist with a "light hand." You should be ok! Have fun!

I don't know about the wrists, but I have a tat on the base of my neck, and I only flinched twice, mind you I have my left foot sleeved, and nothing even compares to that kind of pain, so I guess it just depends on what hurts for you, but for the most part I don't think it hurt!

I have a tat on the back of my neck, and it was not painful for me. To be honest, after the outline, it actually felt kinda like a massage!!!! The only annoying thing is that it makes your teeth chatter! Don't know about the wrist, don't have any there at the moment.

I have one at the top of my neck. It hurt like crazy. Also, that is the one that I want removed. The problem with it is unless my hair is long I can't always hide it. Just remember it costs a lot less to put it there than to remove it.

I don't think you should get one on the inside of your wrist. But back of the neck is a fantastic place to get one. Ofcourse, all fantastic places are sure to hurt like hell.

Getting a tattoo hurts period, and if anybody tells you differently they haven't gotton one. Now as to the threshold of pain, well that depends on the person. What's your threshold? If it's on bone, well I hope you like pain, cause it's gonna hurt. Also... Be sure you know what you want, because Tattoo removeal hurts even worst.

all tatts hurt unless u can take the pane i would say that the 1 on ur nek would hurt the worst
