there's this boy that really likes me, he has for almost a year and i've never gone out with him because sometimes i like hangin out with him but other times i cannot stand him should i give him a chance??

im in a simular situation right now, i can feel your pain. anyways, if you don't like him, don't change your actions; just don't give him a chance (unless you happen to like him back later on.)

If you don't like him then you need to be very honest with him in a respectful way. The most important thing you can do is show respect for his feelings. That doesn't mean that you have to "like him back".
All you have to do is say "Hey, we are good friends but I don't feel that way about you and I don't want to have that type of relationship with you. If I said that I did then I would be just leading you on and that would only hurt you and I don't want to do that. Maybe we should spend some time apart and your feelings will go away".
Your friendship with this guy is toast by the way. You are "past the point of no return". Even if he pretends like he's "just friends" he'll always be after you. The only exception maybe is if you know he falls in love with someone else. Then you'll see his interest in you fall off completely.

Ok look this is what you need to do and that's NOTHING!!! Look anotherwards dont go out with him becuase you feel a kinda bad. You allready know the answer to ur own question. Just tell him straight up that you really enjoy being his friend and that if you two go out it would only ruin that friendship and you dont want to ruin that. Just tell him in a kewl way...he'll understand.....goodluck

Well, you need to be honest with the dude and tell him that you only want to remain friends with him and nothing more. It'd be really unfair if you strung him along.
