It takes a very mature 14 year old to 1; know what love is 2; be responsible enough with the crazy emotions and bio-chemical influences 3; have a relationship last through the changes life brings to an age of legality. Not saying you don't have strong feelings, not even saying you can't be mature enough, just saying its way too early to be thinking this is the one for the rest of your life.
Besides, everything I just said about a 14 year old girl applies to a 17 year old boy too. Its ok to have feelings, its even ok to express those feelings in appropriate ways. But please understand that you have a lot of time to find Mr Right, and a lot of life to live between now and then. Enjoy what you have now, learn from life's experiences, get prepared for the challenges life will bring. I quarantee you, most will be way more troubling than this. So you will need to know how to face them on your own before compounding the equation with the challenges your potential mate will not know how to deal with.

there is no age limit for fallin in love. but a boy of that age isnt into the same things and ur flirting with danger on his part bc he will soon be 18 and could go to jail for it.

love is a triky thing honey i think whatever u do u shouldn't try to rush this relationship i didn't kiss until i was 17 and must keep in mind that he might just like u b/c younger girls are easy to have sex with. i don't think u love him i think you have love for him and you just feel good at your young age having feelings that grown people are supposed to experience

Whoi says you can't right i mean love is infinate and unconditional you can fall in love now if you kno that you are i am twelve and i fell in love with another twelve year old and well yeah we have this kind of love for eachother nd its weird but we are not Bf Gf so yeah thats why it weird we jsut care for eachother so much we would pretty much die for eachothr

Sure you can. But be very careful. The boy might use you then dump you. Then where will you be?
By the way it's not love. It's "in love". It will pass. I don't mean to belittle your feelings which are very powerful I know. But don't let them dominate you.

it could be just puppy love, even at your age. if you still have strong feeling about him in a year, than it is probably love.
