We should support freedom. Freedom isn't free. Read the American History. Even if you support a war, peace should be the ultimate end. War for the sake of killing only is wrong. War to free a nation/country or it's people is bringing peace to the country. We should all strive to be peacemakers. This also goes for our homes, family, friends, community, church, etc., do we bring peace to them? Peacemakers deals with a lot more than war!

LOL. Sometimes, to have a little peace...you gotta make some war. Just because you want peace, what's gonna keep the other guy from coming and taking your freedom? In WWII, do you think it would have been better to choose peace and let the German Natzi's destroy an entire race (because someone teased Hitler when he was a kid? who looked a little Jewish himself). All of Europe would be speaking German right now, and we might well have been speaking Japanese. Get over it and use your powers for good :)

Read your history books. More wars have been fought over religion than anything else. Why should they stop now?
Ask yourself this, as a christian: If other religions, like Islam, is doing bad (evil) is it not the christian thing to do to stop it? Prayer will not stop a bullet, but a believer can fire a gun.

well we should try to make peace and live in a peaceful manner, but it isn't always possible and sometimes we need to defend ourselves. In our dealings with N. Korea and Iran we are trying to avoid a nuclear war and sometimes it is necessary to fight to prevent a bigger disaster. Iran is a good example as they make no bones about it that they will attack the USA if they get the opportunity. Then do we want to fight a nuclear war with them and maybe here on home ground or might we do a strategic attack on their nuclear plants to avoid the fight here on home ground.. But we should try to negotiate peace first..

No, no the bad wars, it is a commander to live, if some one try to kill you must fight but to know when do it or not we have to study the word of God and pray.
The answer is not the "yes-not" style, it is more the hebrew mentallity of "or-if".

Jesus said, If a man slaps you on the right cheek turn to him also the left. I do not see where He said to be beaten, kicked, punched, or slaughtered. This is basically what you are trying to say, that Christians should be annihilated. You must be Muslim. They believe this too.

Yes, when war is needed to liberate people. Living under opression is hardly peace. Neither is living in fear of rogue bombers. War is merely a form of aggressive negotions.
