I have never seen one, but you probably can't beat using a knife to devein shrimp - you're in control, and you can see any dirt you might have missed, seems to me.

They don't work...You can buy them at any kitchen store...

Tips For Peeling and Deveining Shrimp

Peeling and deveining shrimp…

Either before or after cooking shrimp, peel and devein them. Hold the shrimp by the tail. If using a shrimp peeler and deveiner, insert it at the head end just above the vein.

Push through to the tail and remove the shell. This removes the vein at the same time. Rinse shrimp well under cold running water.

If you don't have a shrimp peeler, you can use a paring knife. Shell the shrimp with your fingers or knife. Hold the tail in one hand and slip the thumb of your other hand under the shell between the swimmeret's. Lift off several segments of shell. Repeat, if necessary, removing all but the shrimp's tail.

To remove the vein without a shrimp peeler, make a shallow cut lengthwise down the outer curve of the shrimp. Pick out the vein using the knife. Rinse well under cold, running water.

Removing the shrimp's tail…

With one hand, grasp the tail with your thumb and forefinger. Pull the shrimp meat with your other hand to release it from the shell.

Butterflying shrimp…

This preparation makes a beautiful meal presentation: With a shrimp peeler, remove the shell from the body, leaving the tail on. With a sharp knife, cut along the outer curve of the shrimp from the tail forward, making repeated shallow cuts all the way to the head end. Open the halves up flat, giving a butterfly appearance. Leave just enough meat intact to keep the two sides connected.

You can get one at any kitchen store. However beware, they don't work. I tried using one once for work and it shredded the shrimp rather than the supposed ease of deveining. But they are cheap if you want to give it a shot. :)

You don't. You can only do it yourself properly with a knife.
