Wonderful logic, reasonable question! Maybe we didn't come here to learn a lesson!!!! Maaaaaybe we came here to simply experience life in this expression- to have fun, to celebrate ourselves! Now there's a concept..... maybe this whole lesson thing really is just a fear factor control bit, passed down through the ages. Makes sense to me. Because really, what would be the point? Why ever would God deem all of this necessary? Lonely? Hoping somebody will catch on and get it, so God has somebody to hang out and party with? I read those Christian responses, and I just have to vigorously question -why bother ?
Honestly, every time I read those bible quotes, I feel my entire being suffocating in a medieval quagmire of rhetoric. Give me Zen, thank you very much.

Yes, the One True God is perfect. We are His children, we are the seeds of perfection. Below us, there is the perfection of the mineral; above us, there is the perfection of the Prophets; so we must realize that we are still very ignorant about the concept of perfection.
He allows us to pass through His world of creation here and His world of revelation far beyond in order that the seeds of our perfection can be fully developed. This journey takes one hundred years or one hundred millennia, it is up to Him. How a created thing can ask His Creator why or why not?
If we were perfect, then there would be billions of gods and that means no Supreme God. While reality shows that we are now tremendously far from perfect.

We are not all knowing and perfect. We are not so much here to learn a lesson, but gather enough information to make a decision whether we want to enter into God's kingdom and submit to him or not.
