Each animal has its own place in the biological chain. Some animals are considered to be harming human health like mosqutoes and roaches cause diseases in a big way. They are neither useful as food nor as pets. There are practical yardsticks to decide which animal merits the help and support of animal rights activists. Some animals which are bred for their meat and other produce are commonly killed , many wild animals are killed for their body parts, what are considered as pets are considered as tasty food in some parts of the world. The yardsticks used are based on realities like geography, food habbits and plain preferences of people. The animal rights activists have their own ideology and priorities taking into account many factors. The diversity of nature and the needs and welfare of mankind need to be matched harmoniously in a multi-dimensional manner.

Actually, I do protest the killing of roaches, mosquitos, rats and mice! I don't go and picket on a regular basis, but if there is an insect in my house, I tell the rest of my family not to kill it. If we want to get rid of it, we either take the bugs on a piece of paper, and let it freely into the backyard, and for mice, someone will try to trap it and do the same, release it into the wild. It's not fair to kill them, they're not hurting us, just bothering us that's all. They don't deserve to die for that!

Truthfully I really could careless if an insect is an animal.
You are wondering why people dont protest the killings of roaches and mosquitos , I would say it probably has to do with what good are they other than food for something else. They serve no other purpose and are real good about causing health problems. There is a big difference when it comes to squashing a bug than killing for sport lets say whales. Whales dont make you sick nor do they destroy crops or give you west nile disease and they definitly dont mass produce like roaches and mosquitos. BIG BIG BIG diff.

u r right and if u want to seriously save these small beings then u can also start an association . As money also get collected step by step like this only your group will also become famous and ppl will stop killing all these small beings . According to me it is better to do a particular thing rather than blaming others.

Roaches and mosquitos are pests that can be detrimental to the health of humans everywhere. You ever heard of a roach crawling into a persons ear canal and laying eggs to boot. Or misquitos biting you so bad that they infect you enough to die. Now why would you want to even think about saving such things? Give me your name and I'll send you one of those gigantic roaches that exist on some tropical islands such as Hawaii and then see how much you want to save them.....

a bug is a bug, whether right or wrong i'd kill a bug in a second
now on the other hand if you can not kill the animal in which you are about to eat than you have no right eating it.
we as humans.... the so called more intelligent race
should be as so and use our natural resources to survive
we are not cavemen
we live in a world that can survive without meat
and as for bugs...... there would be no real way to defend them since we as people kill them where they crawl

in my opinion, mutually as animals killed for meat and fur are the two killed in ineffective, the animal killed for meat has that is physique positioned to a pair use. yet fur? human beings dress themselves interior the floor of yet another animal as a fashion assertion. it won't be worn that in many circumstances. human beings coach off the dying of an animal. And next year, that is out of trend. An animal does not might desire to be lifeless to epidermis it (China is common for skinning animals mutually as nevertheless alive and then leaving all of them to die in a pile) and does not choose that is elementary needs met to produce fur. A cow? they are in many circumstances killed earlier they are decrease open, and for them to produce a stable quantity of meat/milk they might desire to be fed good. i think of that is partly by way of fact banning fur is extra achievable than banning meat. (the two via regulation or via popular ethics) in spite of everything, I take it you consume meat. If I confirmed you a image of a cow, you will probable be like "Um... yeah... once you attempt to make me pass veggie, this would possibly not be working". If I confirmed you a image of a fox, you will probable be extra probable to declare something alongside the lines of "Awwww!". they might sense that is extra ideal to wrestle a lesser evil by way of fact they'll gain extra.

Roaches and Mosquitos are not animals they are insects and they carry diseases. I used to live in Austin, TX and you know how disgusting it is to constantly clean your house with bleach and you have flying roaches (Palmetto bugs) in your house. It is nasty. No matter how much you spray for them things they are still there.
