Fedor Emelianenko is the most dominant heavyweight in MMA today. His record is 25-1-0. His first and only loss was over 6 years ago against Tsuyoshi Kohsaka. Fedor avenged that loss in April of 2005 when he defeated Kohsaka at Bushido 6.

If you compare Fedor with any other heavyweights in MMA today you will see that their credentials don't stack up. I do agree with the post above that Crocop (21-4-2) should be mentioned in this discussion, however I would like to point out that Fedor beat Crocop just last year.

Close call between Fedor Emelianenko and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic. Personally I like Mirko better.

Definitely Fedor, but Mirko Filipovic is also up there. If Mirko come to the fight all pumped up and confidient, I can see him defeating Fedor.
